Raija Uosikkinen 09/19/2009
Another one of my favorite designers, this time finnish designer Raija Uosikkinen. I`ve not been able to find much information about her, but she worked for Arabia Finland in the 50s and 60s producing the most wonderful patterns and illustrations. I`ve not been able to find the name on the casserole pattern, but the jam jars are called Pomona, and the dish at the bottom are from a series called Emilia. I really love her crisp drawing style and bold colors. | AuthorI love to draw and always bring my sketchbook with me. ArchivesJanuary 2012 CategoriesAll LinksByRilla
