Nyotaimori sushi tray!

Let`s face it, you regular takeaway sushi is not the most fun or pleasing to the eye.

So let`s jazz it up a bit with this brand new nyotaimori sushi tray!

"Nyotaimori (Japanese: 女体盛り, "female body presentation"), often referred to as "body sushi", is the practice of serving sashimi or sushi from the body of a woman, typically naked."

So take your sushi from drab to fab and swing by my shop and take a look!

Tine brown cheese flower designs

Brown cheese you say? Oh, yes, the famous norwegian brown cheese from Tine has undergone some redesigns, and I am proud to say that it is now released all over Norway. Flower designs by me, typography and package design by Dinamo.

I`ve been hunting down my cheese flower designs in different stores and posting them on instagram, but today I found the complete set of designs on the Tine website. Yay! So fun to see them all since not every shop carry the entire line.

Chocolate lover chopping board

These are the pictures of my new "chocolate lover" chopping board that soon will be available in my shop. My first batch of them sold out first two weeks in december even before I got to list them in my shop, but now a new batch is on it`s way and I thought I`d give you a little peak.

The board is two sided, and the back has a retro 50s pattern inspired by the wallpaper in my grandparents guest bedroom that I used to look at before I went to sleep when I stayed there.
The back side of the product care hangtag also has the same pattern and is made to look like a mini version of the board. :)

For my non-norwegian blog readers out there I`give you a little translation of the text.
It is based on an old norwegian/danish nursery rhyme, but rewritten a bit and goes like this:

Look at my dress
it is to small
Everything I own
is like that
That is because
I love chocolate
and because
potatochips are my friend.

The Holland cutting board.

My new "Holland" cutting board is available in my shop! It is inspired by my many trips to the Netherlands and my love for cheese and windmills. :)

The board is made of laminated MDF, is moisture and heat resistant, and also works very well as a trivet.

New thoughts for a new year

Happy new year!

I thought I`d share some of my new years business resolutions. Last year Rilla told me about the Hello Etsy Berlin. It was a summit on small business and sustainability, and of course I had to hop on a plane and go. The Summit was very useful, and alot of things I already knew, but it was god to get the reassurance that I was going in the right direction.

I also have to share my absolute favorite speakers there: Jamboy, Tom Hodkinson and Natalie Chanin.

I love how all of them said that there were made so many mistakes underway, and that there cannot be growth and progress without mistakes to learn from. That is the most important thing I learned I think, and to keep going, and mistakes are good not bad. So that is what the hand is for, a reminder for the year to come to have fun, eat and sleep, keep going and don`t give up! :)

Earlier this year I participated in the missing link research project at the Berlin Pictoplasma conference.
And now he got picked to be exhibited along with the other 500 contributions at the upcoming Pictoplasma exhibition 7-11. december in Paris, at the new museum la Gaîté Lyrique!

So if you are in Paris, go say hi to him and all the other missing links there.
I just know the exhibition will be wonderful. :)
