Photos copyright Marie Kristiansen. Lisbeth Bjørndal the founder of barnigjen.no just did this amazing makeover using our fabrics in a little playhouse in her garden. I absolutely love what she has done with the fabrics, and she even crocheted the little hamburger on the stove, and fruits and cupcakes on the table! Go check out her site barnigjen.no for more of her beautiful creations. Fabrics can be bought by the meter here, and I`ve put up more photos of the makeover on my Flickr here. The flower brooch collection 02/24/2011
I do collect alot of things, and one of my passions are vintage brooches. I think on my last count that I have some 250 + brooches (crazy right?), and I don`t think I can stop until i have one brooch for every day in the year. Flower and butterfly brooches are my favorite. I get most of them at fleamarkets, thriftshops, etsy or ebay. Friday flickr favorites 02/11/2011
Longing for Berlin 01/31/2011
Here are some more pictures from my inspiration folder on my desktop. I keep longing for spring, for green shoots to appear on the branches and for all the slippery ice to melt away. And I long for Berlin. Sandra`s blog makes me miss it even more. I have never missed a Pictoplasma Berlin conference since it started up in 2004, and it has become a family tradition in our house. But unfortunately it seems we may have to miss it this year. Fingers crossed though that we still will be able to make it! :) The Carousel 01/27/2011
I have this folder on my desktop where I save inspiring pictures. It`s got hundreds of pictures in it and I thought it was time to share some of them. Most of them comes from the flickr account of Camilla Engmann, Liivia and Lena Corwin, but some of them are so old that I`ve lost their source. If you see your photo here and I`ve not linked to you please email me and let you know so that I can credit you. So here comes the first batch, enjoy! :) Happy doodelings 12/14/2010
I ♥ Posca! 10/22/2010
Ah, the Posca, that little japanese wonder of a marker! I can`t go into an art supply shop without coming out with at least a handfull of them. I keep them stacked all over my house and in all my purses. Like instant gouache paint it covers everything, and can give really sharp edges. And when scanned, it gives a really nice texture to the artwork. What would I like to bring on a deserted island? Rune, our daughter and a life supply of sketchbooks and Posca markers. :) | AuthorI love to draw and always bring my sketchbook with me. ArchivesJanuary 2012 CategoriesAll LinksByRilla
